Paratec Premium and Paratec are two types of tissue-embedding paraffin offered by Slee. Paratec Premium is composed of highly purified paraffin and includes a polymer additive that facilitates precise embedding and cutting. Notably, Slee’s paraffin is free from DMSO. Paratec Premium, the premium paraffin variant, has a melting range of 54–57 °C and is available in 1 kg, 2.5 kg, and 10 kg packages. On the other hand, Paratec is a paraffin variant without the polymer additive, with a melting range of 54–56 °C, and is available in a 20 kg package.
